Today is my neighborhood’s annual matsuri (festival). I walked out to the main street to see lanterns hanging everywhere and people wearing their yukata or jimbei. Later in the evening, they will walk around carrying huge portable shrines. I’ll try to go out later and take some pics.

The weather is really getting to me, it’s just too damn hot. I mean, it’s September now and yet it seems that it’s even hotter than August. Please, beautiful Fall weather, come rescue me! In the meantime I guess I’ll have to drink more beer.
