Pay Phone
One of the things I always look at when I visit a country are the phone booths. They don’t top the retro-futuristic oval-shaped ones in Beijing, but still, not bad.

Emergency
This emergency kit was on the outside balcony. It, as well as our room, looked fairly old. The hotel was fine, but for a 4-star hotel I was a bit disapointed. We had much better accomodations on our trip to Hong Kong, and I was expecting better in Seoul. It just felt like the place…

The section of the city I probably enjoyed the most was called Insadong. Filled with galleries and groovy little cafes and restaurants, it was a nice area to walk in (lots of souvenir shops too, but still). It’s here that I found the great design store Do Art, and where I picked up the above…
