  • Animated Frank

Fuyama Taruto creates a great animated short based on the work of Jim Woodring, and you can view it here. Link via Artbomb.

  • Idee Service Station

A few shots from the Idee Service Station cafe/bar in Shimouma (walking distance from Nakameguro, Yutenji, and Sangenjaya stations).

  • Moblog Images Get Bigger

If you click on the latest moblog image in the sidebar, you’ll notice that you now get a pop-up window with a larger version of the pic. I will now be moblogging with pics twice as big. A huge thanks goes out to Patrick, for helping me set this up. I was planning on moving…

Lame. I’ll be picking it up when I’m done with the magazines I’m currently reading. Actually, looks…

  • The Yappy Thread

Looks like we have a new record-length comment thread (40 comments and counting), and it’s for a post that’s just over a day old!

  • Idea 305

Looks like I’m going to have to pick up the current issue of bilingual Japanese design magazine IDEA (305). The feature is on Hara Kenya, who did a lot of design work for Muji. As you can see by the above pages, it’s a terrific-looking issue.
