The latest project from Klein Dytham Architecture (my ex-employers, while working at PechaKucha) is the Picchio Visitors Centre and Ice Rink in Karuizawa — Dezeen has a full post showing off the beautiful complex.

I haven’t shared any Tokyoiter covers in a while — while they were preparing for their recent exhibition, the site had gone a bit quiet — but there have been plenty of additions following the show, and the latest one is the lovely cover you see here, created by my buddy Louis-Étienne Vallée.

  • Mario + Rabbids: Battle Kingdom

    —

I’m having such a great time playing this. I was so excited when it first got announced at our Ubi presser during E3 — and was even more ecstatic to see Miyamoto join Yves on stage (and I even had a chance to tell Yves just that). So yeah, I’m super happy that Ubi has…

  • Halt and Catch Fire (Season 4)

    —

Halt and Catch Fire is among my favorite series of all time — it constantly feels like it was written just for me — and what we’ve seen so far of season 4 (the final season) has been fantastic. Every season has been set during a different era of technology, and this latest one, focusing…

  • Wonder Woman

    —

  • The Circle

    —

Having watched this, I’m still not quite sure to what level I enjoyed it. I mean, I didn’t dislike it, and I was entertained enough throughout. But there’s something off, sometimes it’s the cheesiness of it — the satire of the Googleplex feels lazy — sometimes it’s just that what happens feels too obvious. Hanks…

  • Batman: The Telltale Series

    —

I’ve played the majority of Telltale games, but in recent years have definitely started feeling Telltale fatigue. I think the last one I played was their Game of Thrones game, which I did quite like, but I played it well after it was released. I’d heard good things about their Batman game, and so finally…

  • Death Note (2017)

    —

So Death Note, I know what the story is about, but I never read the manga or watched the anime, or watched the TV series and movies that were done in Japan. I was pretty curious about the new American adaptation that just came out on Netflix, and so I guess I got to watch…
