Here’s another pic of the Dojunkai apartments that I took last week. Thanks to Nadine of Tokyo Shoes for mentioning the other one.

Sweet Potatoes
This yakiimo (baked sweet potatoes) vendor is probably not doing much business on such a warm sunny day. This is the first time I see one pushing a small cart like this. In my neighborhood, they usually drive around in a truck with the traditional oven in the back, speakers blaring “Yaaaakiiiiiiiimoooooooooooo!”

Lobby
I just love this. We entered the lobby of a building in Aoyama, and this is what tells you what’s on every floor. Every lamp represents a company or shop.

Koinobori
The koinobori, which you see floating in the wind, are used to celebrate boys day (May 5th). The picture was taken in Koma, where we spent the afternoon yesterday walking around and enjoying the open air. The next few days of pics will be from that outing.
