  • Metropolis on Design

    The new issue of GIANT ROBOT (44) has the full interview Lisa did with the creator of Kami-Robo, Tomohiro Yasui, which was the basis of the WIRED piece that appeared a few months back.

  • Yamaha FC-me

    The Yamaha FC-me, still in prototype, is powered by a fuel cell, and I’m with Core77 on the desire to see this thing get into production.

  • Every Conversation

    Escalator Records is about to launch a new spinoff label called Every Conversation, with the idea of releasing 7″ singles from non-Japanese artists. More details from Patrick’s Agenda here.

  • Polypunk 12

    A brand new episode of Digiki’s POLYPUNK is up (12), this time a mix for the upcoming OK FRED website renewal.

  • TDW at MoCo Loco

  • TDW Tips from PingMag

  • Comme des Garcons PLAY BOX

    Comme des Garcons have a temporary shop/kiosk called PLAY BOX, pictured above (bigger picture here). The photo is by Jun, of LDK, who bought a polo shirt there just to get the PLAY shopping bag that comes with every purchase.

  • Mirage A to Z

    I’m always up for some free papers or posters! Mirage, the graphic team by Yoshi Tajima, Toshifumi Tanabu and Takeshi Yonemochi started a free poster project under the title “Mirage A to Z”.   • INFAS Publications

    Earlier today we — me and Jesper — were invited to the INFAS Publications offices in Roppongi by one of the editors of RYUKO TSUSHIN, Risa Okamura (pictured speaking with Jesper). Jesper had helped guide her in Gothenburg earlier in the year for a piece they were preparing on the city.
