Street Food

MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

This is where we had dinner on the Saturday night, at the Dongdaemon market. The woman in the back to the left is preparing our food. The sidewalk is in front of where she is, and it’s comprised of a long row of women like her preparing pretty much the same food (on a huge frying plate like you see yakisoba and okonomiyaki vendors use here in Japan), all yelling in Japanese (they all new Yuko was Japanese) that their food is the best. I can’t remember why we picked this one, but it ended up being very tasty. I’m sitting in front of Yuko, and in back of me is a 4-lane street with lots of traffic. Can’t get that kind of atmosphere in a restaurant.
