PLR

A while back I mentioned that I was slowly starting work on a secret project that I code-named PLR. Might as well let the cat out of the bag and say that the project in question is a teeny-tiny record label that I’m to start with my good friend Marc Xavier LeBlanc, photographer and DJ and all-around music freak. It’s something we’ve talked about doing for years, and we’re finally getting serious about it. This is not a big business venture, I’m not really looking to make tons of money out of it. Rather, it’s a labor of love, something I’ve always dreamed of doing, and that’s why we’re doing it. Not being musically inclined myself, I’ve still always had a passion for music. I’m also really excited and intrigued by the design aspect of a label, of creating an identity. I look forward to getting things moving along at a good pace, and trying to get a first release out the door. This will be happening over the next several months though, so nothing yet to announce (and I’ll still refer to it as PLR, for trademark purposes).
