Heineken Aluminum Bottle

I’m not a big beer drinker, and I guess I’m kinda slow when it comes to beer trends. But even I can learn to appreciate beer when it is served in a lovely green aluminium bottle. This Heineken bottle, designed by Ora ?to, was released 2002 in a very limited edition and only in France. Then in 2003 they started serving it at some carefully selected fashionable venues like Club Cab in Paris.

The interest in the bottle has led to an expansion of the distribution. I found a bottle at Superstudio in Milano and also saw that they served it at an Pinky exhibition at Best in London.
