The new issue of ART iT (11) is out.

This new edition of ART iT magazine is a sequel to the previous special on China, a country with an art scene that’s surely worth dedicating several issues to. Leading Chinese contemporary artist, Cai Guo-Qiang introduces his gunpowder art and drawings, and reveals details about his newest work, while Song Dong, one of a new generation of artists, talks quietly about his idea of “transience”. Accompanied by a Beijing edition of the Shanghai Art/Read/Eat map that was included in volume 10, the reports on the Beijing art scene this time provide the latest dates and facts from the Chinese capital. Appearing in the popular “Fantasy Mode to Order” corner is Japanese-style painter Matsui Fuyuko, and essays this time come from such international art celebrities as Hans Ulrich Obrist and Hou Hanru. Also starting from this issue is a new series of reports on international art shows!
