D&D in Japan

With last week marking the death of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS creator Gary Gygax, No-sword’s Matt Treyvaud takes a look at the history of the game in Japan. I think most readers know I’m an avid gamer, and not just videogames, but also boardgames and CCGs, and I have indeed rolled my fair share of polyhedric dice, the first time being in 1981, with this edition of D&D, which I believe is the 1st edition. I am planning on playing some D&D again this year (my first return to pen-and-paper RPGs in at least 15 years), once the 4th edition of the game comes out in June.
