LittleBigPlanet 3

I love this series so damn much, and as I’ve said before, I think it’s one of the best art directed bunch of games ever (although I’ve just started playing Tearaway Unfolded, and that’s blowing me away as well). I finally got around to playing LittleBigPlanet 3 over the holidays – grabbing it during one of the PSN sales – and am again deeply in love with the series. I know Media Molecule wasn’t directly involved in this sequel, but I think it’s still probably the best game so far in terms of the level design – I’m just having such a good time in this game, more than in the previous games. The music is also stellar, and I love the new character types they introduced, each one feeling really fun to play (especially the dog one). I know some people have gripes with the physics in the game (and how it affects the jumping), but I’ve never had an issue with it – it’s just a different take on platforming, that’s all – and I always have a good time when I’m playing these games.
