Metafive — the supergroup that includes Cornelius and Towa Tei — has just released a new mini album called Metahalf. You’ll find more details in this Tokyo’s Coolest Sound post, and here’s a video for the first single, “Musical Chairs.”
Metafive — the supergroup featuring Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius), Towa Tei, Yoshinori Sunahara, Yukihiro Takahashi, Tomohiko Gondo, and Leo Imai — will be performing next month at the special Japan edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival (October 7, at the Garden Hall). Would so love to see them live — and love Cornelius’s look in the group photo.
