    Derek Kirk Kim’s first Small Stories collection, SAME DIFFERENCE AND OTHER STORIES, is now out. It looks like a really nice book, and something I’ll want to get. You can read the stuff online at his site, but it’s always nice to have these things in book format (and it helps out the artists financially).

    I just read the first part of Scott McCloud’s new online comic, The Right Number. He describes it as “a new online graphic novella about math, sex, obsession and phone numbers.” This is also the first time McCloud tries out a micropayment scheme, which he’s been talking about for years (see his REINVENTING COMICS book).…

    I was sick this weekend (still feeling tired), and it basically ruined whatever plans I had. Spent the day yesterday watching lots of stuff I had downloaded, like a bunch of episodes of the TV show ALIAS (I am so addicted to that show). I’ve also started watching a new anime that debuted 2 months…
