PKN, Vol. 33

Last night’s edition of PechaKucha Night (Vol. 33) was quite fun, and I guess I even got a slide at the start wishing me birthday wishes, but I ended up arriving a bit late and missed it. Overall, there were more Japanese presentations than in recent times, but it was a nice mix, and I absolutely loved when Surface to Air walked on stage and took the piss out of everyone and everything (poor Fred Perry). Another cool presentation revolved around the T-1 World Cup t-shirt competition, of which tees should go on sale next week — I’ll write a separate post once sales start. And that piece I wrote about PechaKucha Night I believe will be the cover story for next week’s issue of METROPOLIS (issue 637, out June 9).
