Turn Left, Turn Right

I’m not usually into romantic films, but I just finished watching TURN LEFT, TURN RIGHT, and damn if I didn’t love it. It’s an HK film starring Takeshi Kaneshiro and Gigi Leung, and directed by Johnny To and Wai Ka Fai, better know for their actioners like THE MISSION and FULLTIME KILLER. What can I say, I got sucked in and fell in love with the characters. I also have a general love for Kaneshiro, so I usually try to check out whatever he appears in. I am definitely looking forward to his next film, which is Zhang Yimou’s new martial arts epic, LOVERS, also starring Zhang Ziyi and Andy Lau.
