  • The latest issue of BRUTUS (579) is their annual — and very thick (think VOGUE) — fashion issue. The embossed white logo looks quite nice. As for the interior, for fashionistas only.
  • PEN (161) devotes its cover feature to Italian motoring, specifically on a certain classic car and motorcycle that I’m assuming is quite famous (as I’ve made public in the past, I’m definitely not into cars). They also have a terrific image-heavy article on the new Hotel Puerta America (the one that features rooms designed by a who’s who of design celebrities). The hotel has been mentioned everywhere this month, but this article was the best coverage of it I’ve seen yet. And in other PEN news, September 27 will see the launch of a new magazines devoted to food called PEN_ATES (pronounced pen-ah-tess).
